Your new role:

The Content Creator is a hybrid role that blends designand video editing elements with copywriting. You are responsible for improving the quality of content and increasing organic search visibility to specified websites. As a key cog in Medida's content team, you will be responsible for ensuring pages and posts rank for targeted keywords, and to attract and engage customers and drive consumer actions. The successful candidate(s) should be a positive self-starter, enthusiastic problem-solver and hands-on with a strong sense of accountability to achieve the top goals.

What you'll be working on:

  • Collaborate with various teams to produce new content for existing and/or new web properties;
  • Develop and deliver different content elements (video, imagery, infographics, text) to improve site ranking and authority;
  • Create and manage content sprints with measurable results with agile methodology;
  • Review and edit content copy created by others, ensuring consistency in quality and tone of voice;
  • Update, optimize, improve existing evergreen content;
  • Produce marketing copy for multiple web properties;
  • Collaborate and follow best practices to craft the best possible SEO pages for websites;
  • Perform competitive analysis to identify gaps in content, and plan content to fill those gaps;
  • Create multimedia content using Adobe Suite and/or other softwares;

    What you will be bringing to your new role:

    • Bachelor’s degree or proven experience directly in the field;
    • Previous experience in an SEO-related role, understanding principles of creating content for maximizing SEO;
    • Previous experience working in online marketing;
    • Previous experience writing video scripts;
    • Proven experience with professional writing; excellent grammar and spelling is a must;
    • Comfortable using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Express, XD, Rush;
    • Portfolio of previous work demonstrating the above
    • English C2 level

    Strong consideration will be given to candidates who also offer the following:

    • Understand the concept of “User Intent” and how to satisfy it in the digital space;
    • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console and SEMrush;
    • Ability to learn new markets quickly, comfortable dealing with fast-paced environments;
    • Experience with WordPress CMS.
